QC photo checklist
When your agent sends QC (quality-check) photos before shipping, this is what to look at before you green-light or request a re-check. Run through it top to bottom. If something's off, ask your agent for more angles.
First glance
- ✓Right item, colorway and size you ordered
- ✓Overall proportions and shape look correct vs. reference pics
- ✓No obvious factory defects (glue, marks, loose threads)
Logos & branding
- ✓Logo font, spacing and size match the real thing
- ✓Embroidery is dense and clean (no gaps or loose loops)
- ✓Prints are sharp, centered and the right scale
- ✓Any text/tags spelled correctly
Stitching & construction
- ✓Stitch count and spacing look even
- ✓No crooked, skipped or doubled seams
- ✓Panels line up; patterns match across seams
Materials & color
- ✓Fabric/leather texture looks right (ask for close-ups)
- ✓Color matches under neutral light (beware yellow-tinted photos)
- ✓Hardware (zippers, buttons, buckles) is the correct finish and branded correctly
Size & tags
- ✓Size tag matches what you ordered
- ✓Care/brand tags present and legible
- ✓Measurements match the size chart if you asked for them
Shoes · extra checks
- ✓Toe box shape and midsole lines are correct
- ✓Correct box, size sticker and any accessories
- ✓Sole pattern, stitching and paint are clean
- ✓No excess glue around the sole
QC is your last checkpoint before shipping, and most agents let you reject and re-QC. When in doubt, ask for more photos. Educational reference only. New to this? Read the buying guide.
