Four quoted comments exist between these two sellers, two each. That is far too little to rank anybody, and this page does not try — there is no verdict here and no score.
What those four comments do have in common is unusual enough to build a page on. Every one of them describes buying outside the normal route. Not one of them is a buyer who went through a shopping agent, paid for a warehouse inspection, looked at QC photographs and then approved the parcel. That is the standard mechanism this whole hobby runs on, and it appears in neither file.
The four comments, by channel
PENG turns up in r/FashionReps, r/fashionreps2 and r/stockholmreps; we read five threads and 157 comments and kept two. The hotkicks entry turns up in r/Repsneakers, r/sneakerreps, r/KobeReps and r/FashionRepsIT; we read three threads and 41 comments and kept two.
The PENG comments point at a Discord server and at direct shipping from the seller. The hotkicks comments point at a Western-facing site with an order status page and an email address. Those are two different purchase channels with two different failure modes, and the comparison worth making here is between the channels, not between the shops.
PENG: a chat server and a bag bought direct
The September 2025 comment is a repeat-buyer claim that doubles as an instruction:

Seller-run chat servers are ordinary here and are the fastest way to get a stock or measurement answer. They are also a room the seller owns and moderates, so testimony collected inside one is not independent of the person it is about. That is a property of the venue, not an accusation.
The March 2026 comment is a haul post about a leather duffle bag:

Our stored copy runs on and is cut off mid-word a few sentences later, so we stop where the sentence stops. What survives past our excerpt, and is visible in the thread itself, is that the buyer contacted the seller for direct shipping.
hotkicks: a checkout, and a name that splits in two
Before the comments there is a problem with the name, and it is the more useful half of this half of the page. Our entry is a Yupoo album at the handle hotkicks, trading under the display name FIRE KICKS. Both comments we hold discuss hotkicks.org, a website with a cart. We cannot establish from our record whether those are the same operation, a reseller of the same stock, or two things sharing a word — and we are not going to assert any of the three.
The January 2023 comment is the most self-aware sentence in either file:
I have purchased from Hot kicks, shoes were decent. Found better quality with other sellers.

The July 2021 comment describes an order that stopped moving:
I ordered fire red Jordan 4s and at first it was really good communication and they sent pics of the shoes n everything, but ever since then the order has just said “ready for shipping” for the past two weeks.

Our copy of that one is cut off shortly after, so we stop at the sentence boundary. Note what it reports: photographs sent as a courtesy, then a status that stopped changing. It is an account of silence, not of loss, and our record does not contain the ending.
What each channel removes
Both routes in these files skip the intermediary, and skipping the intermediary removes specific things rather than just a fee.
- The inspection stops being a step and becomes a favour. An agent photographs the item in their warehouse before forwarding it, and you can refuse it there. A seller sending photos direct is doing you a kindness they can also stop doing, which is what the 2021 comment describes.
- The dispute changes venue. With an agent, an argument happens inside their system while your money is still in your balance. Direct, it happens between you, an inbox, and possibly your card issuer.
- Nobody re-checks. Direct shipping is fast because a leg was deleted, and the deleted leg is where a wrong colourway is caught cheaply.

Five years apart, in a market that turns over
The PENG comments are from September 2025 and March 2026. The hotkicks comments are from July 2021 and January 2023. Nothing in the hotkicks file postdates 2023 at all.
That gap is not neutral. Sneaker factories change, batches get superseded, and shops change hands while keeping a domain and the reputation attached to it. A 2021 experience and a 2026 order are not observations of the same object, and a comparison across that gap is a comparison of two different years as much as two different sellers.
Where both files are equally blank
Neither record contains a refund, a return, a size dispute, or an account of what a seller did after somebody complained in writing. Neither contains a measurement. Neither names a price you could plan around.
The catalogues differ without settling anything: we index 129 PENG items, weighted to apparel then outerwear then accessories, tagged Derschutze and Metra, and zero items for hotkicks, tagged Nike, Jordan and New Balance. That is a fact about our crawl, not about either shop's stock.
Two comments each, from different channels, in different years, about different product categories. The comparison cannot be settled on this evidence, and anyone who settles it for you invented the confidence.
