thethunder vs akdingji: three questions, two near-silent files

Both files hold three comments and neither holds a review. We put the three questions a buyer actually asks to each record and report exactly what comes back.

Published 2026-08-10

Most comparisons on this site work seller by seller. This one does not, because reading these two files in sequence hides the thing that matters: they are both close to empty, and they are empty in different places.

So instead of two profiles, three questions. The questions a person actually types before ordering, put to each record in turn, with whatever comes back printed as it stands.

THUNDER, at the handle thethunder, is tagged across eleven luxury houses and holds 476 items in our catalogue. HenryReps, at akdingji, is tagged across nineteen streetwear labels and holds none. We read 91 comments about the first and 141 about the second, and kept three each. No rating for either appears below.

Question one: has anyone described something they received?

THUNDER: partly. One commenter who owned the retail version of a garment looked at somebody else's post and compared:

Nah i had retail of this in black, and everything looks on point with this rep. Might aswell buy it again from thunder

u/milkskh, r/FashionReps, 21 July 2023

Read that precisely. The person says they owned the retail hoodie in black; they do not say the replica was in their hands. It is a judgement about photographs by somebody with an unusually good reference point, which is more than most records hold and less than a review.

The second-hand-adjacent one, from April 2026, reports hardware on a Prada jacket:

and the green one is there too, both have KF badge & NFC.

u/Akka32, r/FashionReps, 11 April 2026

Our stored copy runs on past that and is cut off mid-sentence by our 300-character limit, so we stop where the writer's own sentence stopped. What is reported is that tags were physically present on two colourways. Reproducing a badge and a chip is what a replica does, and nobody in the thread scanned one.

akdingji: no. Not partly, not indirectly. Not one of the three comments in that file contains an opinion about the quality of anything.

Question two: does the seller ship, and do they reply?

THUNDER: one data point, and it is a chase. In the same July 2023 thread as the comparison above, a different reader was waiting:

How long did it take to arrive at warehouse it says they have urged the seller to ship but no response from thunder

u/No_Audience_6518, r/FashionReps, 21 July 2023

That is a buyer relaying what their agent told them: the seller had been urged to ship and nothing came back. Our corpus holds no reply, no eventual shipment and no refund. Two comments in one conversation, pulling opposite ways, is the most accurate summary of THUNDER anyone can give.

akdingji: nothing about the seller, but one dated claim about agents, inside the question that opens the file:

Brother do you recommend Akdingji? And what agent do you use? because SB and ACB dont provide QC from weidian items...

u/Odd_Mission6012, r/FashionReps, 15 November 2024

That is a buyer's understanding in November 2024 about two named agents' QC policies, unverified by us, concerning services that revise their terms regularly. Do not carry it forward as current fact — ask whichever agent you intend to use. Where QC sits in the sequence is covered in how to buy reps.

Question three: what are you actually browsing?

THUNDER: 476 items resolved with a usable photo and a working buy link, weighted to apparel, then sneakers, then outerwear. The brand tags run from Balenciaga and Celine through Dior, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada, plus hats. A seller listing eleven houses is not eleven times as good at any of them — quality in this market is set per item and per factory, not per storefront — and the only two garments anybody has described are a Burberry hoodie and a Prada jacket.

akdingji: zero items. Nothing from this store appears on the shelf, and its evidence page carries the Reddit record and nothing else. The closest thing to a catalogue in the file is a comment that is literally a list of album URLs for a Palace jacket, a Carhartt sherpa, a Carhartt workwear jacket and a Stussy puffer — the most upvoted thing anyone wrote about the store, and in content an index rather than an opinion. The third comment is a haul post's caption block:

Denim tears: PURPLE: Gallery Dept: balenciaga: Chrome Hearts: Supreme: CARHARTT:

u/Witty_Lingonberry255, r/FashionReps, 6 November 2024

We print it because a page claiming three comments should let you see the same three we saw, rather than letting the number imply three reviews.

The number that separates them, and what it is not

476 against zero is the only large gap between these files, and it is a gap in what our crawl could resolve, not in what either store sells. HenryReps may well list heavily; our index simply came back with nothing carrying both a clean photo and a link that resolves. Practically: for THUNDER you can browse the catalogue and form your own impression before anyone's opinion enters it, and for HenryReps this site can show you nothing.

What akdingji's file does establish is demand. Two of its threads are a QC post of recent pickups and a 10kg direct-shipping haul, both from November 2024, both drawing strangers asking where to get the same items. The store was active and orders arrived in volume. That is real, and it is not a statement about print accuracy, fabric weight or what happens when an order stalls.

What neither file reaches

Neither has a sizing note, a measurement or a fit reference. Neither has a refund, return or dispute that ended. Neither has anything from the eleven or nineteen brand tags beyond the handful of garments named above. THUNDER's file has a three-year hole between its two threads; akdingji's stops in November 2024 entirely.

Three comments each, and between them one photograph-based comparison, one shipping chase, one question, one link list and one caption. That is the whole basis for anything said about either store here.

Doing the checking yourself

The permalinks are on the evidence pages for THUNDER and HenryReps, and the longer per-seller writeups are at THUNDER and akdingji. If a link from any of those threads has died, the link decoder usually rebuilds it from the URL alone.

With files this thin, the work is yours. How to evaluate a rep seller sets out what to look for before paying, and methodology explains why 141 comments produced three. These are replicas, and nothing above claims otherwise.
