Is TopSelect legit? Six comments, five positive, one long wait

TopSelect has the friendliest Reddit record on this site and the smallest number of people behind it. Every on-topic comment quoted, including the 47-day wait at its centre.

Published 2026-08-10

Somebody on r/DesignerReps opened a thread in June 2026 titled with exactly the question in this page's title. Somebody on r/stockholmreps asked the same thing on the same day. That is a reasonable place to start, because the answer both threads produced is one man's account of waiting a month and a half for a pair of shoes.

TopSelect is stored here as TopSelect (top factories), a Yupoo seller discussed on r/FashionReps, r/DesignerReps, r/stockholmreps and r/RepTime, with bags and luxury apparel across Arc'teryx, Brunello Cucinelli, Burberry, Dior, Hermes, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton and Zegna. We pulled 93 comments from five threads. Six are on topic, five of those read positive, none read negative.

This page is the evidence, not a verdict. Five positive comments and no negative ones is a pattern worth showing you and it is not a rating, so no rating appears below.

The centrepiece is a wait

One buyer, u/t8r-bug, posted an update after his order landed:

I wanted to provide an update. I received my shoes today. It was 47 says since I ordered and paid. I have to admit, the wait was well worth it.

u/t8r-bug, r/DesignerReps, 9 June 2026

The typo in the middle of that is his and we have left it alone, because he wrote the number out properly in a near-identical comment posted to r/stockholmreps the same day:

I received the shoes 47 days after I ordered and paid. I have to admit, the wait was well worth it. As I was waiting on these to arrive, I was worried I was not going to receive them, so I ordered from another TD.

u/t8r-bug, r/stockholmreps, 9 June 2026

Both stored copies truncate shortly after that point, so we stop where the sentences do. What is complete, and what matters, is the shape of it: 47 days between paying and receiving, long enough that the buyer assumed the order had failed and placed a second one elsewhere while he waited.

Three of six comments are one person

Half our on-topic record for TopSelect is u/t8r-bug, posting the same experience into two subreddits and then defending it. A commenter in the r/stockholmreps thread read his account and drew the opposite conclusion:

Based on what I understood from you, TopSelect's quality is good and makes up for the waiting time. The question is whether the other seller (the cheaper one, TD) was higher quality and more satisfying? I am currently waiting for the QC from TopSelect and am considering canceling based on your information.

u/NarrowRaccoon1317, r/stockholmreps, 9 June 2026

He was not pleased:

I'm REALLY confused by your post. The cheaper shoes weren't anywhere close to the quality of TopSelect and certainly were NOT more satisfying. Sorry I thought I was clear about that in my post.

u/t8r-bug, r/stockholmreps, 9 June 2026

Count the actual people and the record shrinks fast:

  1. u/t8r-bug, one order, posted twice and clarified once.
  2. u/NarrowRaccoon1317, who had not received anything yet and was thinking about cancelling.
  3. u/Material_Double_9690, on a wallet.
  4. u/zer0gravity-, on luggage.

Four voices. One of them has held a TopSelect item long enough to say anything about durability, and he is also the loudest.

The other two, on small goods

I bought the same item from Topselect and can confirm that it is very good quality. I use mine as a passport holder and was complimented on it by an immigration officer in Monaco just yesterday!

u/Material_Double_9690, r/FashionReps, 28 June 2026

That was posted into a QC thread about a Louis Vuitton wallet. And from a thread about Goyard luggage:

Nice! Love TopSelect. Just make sure you use this, not on planes—the luggage people will do jumping jacks on top of it.

u/zer0gravity-, r/FashionReps, 4 July 2026

Both are warm, both are short, and neither describes an ordering experience — which means neither one corroborates or contradicts the 47 days.

About the words in the name

The seller's stored name carries "top factories" in it, and phrases like top factory and god factory circulate freely in these threads. They are marketing vocabulary, not verifiable facts about a production line, and a seller repeating one about their own stock is telling you what they want you to think. Where genuine batch names exist for a specific silhouette, the batch guides lay out what people actually compared. Where they do not, "top factory" is a phrase and nothing else.

What this record cannot tell you

Zero negative comments across six is not a clean sheet. It is a sample of six. Nothing here describes a refund, a wrong item, a QC rejection, an item that failed after wear, or a seller who stopped answering — because with four buyers in the set, the odds of catching one are low.

Everything we hold is also from a seven-week window in mid-2026, most of it from a single day. There is no long-run history to read here at all.

We hold no catalogue for TopSelect either: no indexed products, nothing on the shelf, no photographs checked. The TopSelect evidence page is the Reddit trail, and the methodology page describes how it was gathered.

If you order anyway

Buy through a shopping agent, who purchases on your behalf and photographs the item before it ships to you — that warehouse photo is the only inspection you will get. Paste any product link into the link decoder to get a working buy link for the agents this site supports, and read how to buy reps first if this is a new process to you.

Then plan for the timeline. The one completed order in this record took 47 days, and the buyer spent part of it convinced it had gone wrong. That is the single most concrete thing anyone has said about TopSelect in public.
