Everything this site holds about UNIONKINGDOM was written on one afternoon. Both quoted comments come from the same r/FashionReps thread, both are dated 28 July 2021, and there is nothing after that.
That is a thin record and an old one, which is a different problem from thin alone. We are not rating this seller and there is no verdict below. What this page can do is show you both comments in full, be exact about what they are, and explain why a 2021 thread is a weaker guide to a 2026 shop than its confident tone suggests.
Two comments, and neither is a review
We read 175 comments across five threads that mention the name, on r/FashionReps, r/QualityReps and r/weidianwarriors. Two of them are on topic. The first is a question, and it is addressed at the seller directly:

Notice who it is aimed at. The seller had a Reddit account and was posting their own product to the subreddit, which makes the thread a marketing post with a comment section rather than an independent review. That is extremely common in this corner of Reddit and it is worth naming every time, because the difference between "people are discussing a seller" and "a seller posted and people replied" changes what the thread is evidence of.
The question itself is the oldest one in the hobby: are the photos of the real garment, or of the thing being sold? Sellers do photograph retail pieces, and album images are marketing rather than documentation. Our record does not contain the seller's answer.
The second comment is the only one that describes the product at all:

What "closer to retail" is actually claiming
It is a comparison, not a measurement. The writer is saying one pair of shorts resembles the retail version more closely than a different seller's pair does — judged by eye, in 2021, probably from photographs.
These are replicas. Nobody in the quote is claiming otherwise, and neither are we. A resemblance claim from a stranger who did not lay the two items side by side is worth roughly what it costs, and the honest way to use it is as a lead to investigate, not a finding. A price from 2021 is not a price
The 100 yuan figure is real, it is quoted verbatim, and you should not plan an order around it. Five years have passed. Chinese seller pricing moves, exchange rates move, agent fee structures move, and the specific product in that thread may not exist any more.
We publish no prices of our own anywhere on this site, for exactly this reason: a number that was true once and is wrong now does more damage than no number, because it sounds like information. The only current price is the one on the listing on the day you look.
What the shop looks like now
We hold 72 items in their catalogue, weighted towards apparel, then bags, then outerwear. The single label attached to them in our data is Essentials, while the 2021 thread that produced both our comments was about Eric Emanuel shorts and mentions Bape.
That mismatch is itself a finding. A shop's line-up drifts, and a seller whose 2021 reputation was built on one silhouette may be selling something else entirely now. The record you are reading and the shop you would be ordering from are five years apart.
How to check whether it is still the same shop
Old-record sellers need a different first question from new ones. Not "is the quality good" but "is this still the same operation".
- Check the Yupoo actually loads and has recent activity. A store that stopped updating is the most common quiet ending in this hobby.
- Search each subreddit for the name restricted to the last twelve months. If five years of buyers produced nothing recent, that is the finding.

- Run any item link through the link decoder before assuming it is dead. It reads the item id straight out of the URL, so a link from an archived 2021 thread often still resolves to a buyable page.
