Ask this question in any rep community and you will get answers a month apart from people who are all being honest. That is because "how long does it take" is a question about seven separate processes, and different buyers are timing different subsets of them.
Break it into the stages and the disagreement mostly dissolves.
The seven stages
Each one has a different driver, and each one fails in a different way.
- You order, the agent buys. Usually fast — hours to a day or two, gated by nothing but the agent's purchasing queue and whether your balance covers it.
- The seller ships domestically to the warehouse. The most variable stage by a wide margin, because it is the only one where the item may not exist yet. In stock means days. Made to order means as long as production takes.
- Check-in and QC photography. The item is received, unpacked, weighed and photographed. Normally quick; it stretches when the warehouse is in a surge.
- You approve or refuse. Entirely under your control, and routinely the longest self-inflicted delay in the whole chain. If you have asked for extra frames — see asking for better QC photos — this is where that request is paid for in days.
- Waiting for the rest of the haul. Not a stage so much as a decision. Everything already on the shelf waits for whatever has not arrived, while the storage clock runs per item.
- Submit, pay freight, dispatch. Packing, weighing, a quote you accept, then a wait for the parcel to actually leave. Dispatch is a queue, not an event.
- International transit, clearance, last mile. The part everyone thinks the question was about, and often not the largest part.
Note where the tracking numbers are: stages one to six mostly happen with none at all, which is why a haul feels slowest in the half where you can see least.
Stage two decides your month
If you want one thing from this page: the difference between a three-week haul and a three-month one is almost never the flight. It is one seller who has not shipped.
Everything downstream of that is fairly bounded. Warehouses process, freight flies, customs clears. But an item that is being made to order, or was listed without being held, has no natural ceiling — and if you are consolidating, it holds the entire parcel hostage. What happens when a seller declares no stock after payment is the version of this that at least resolves.

Each of those is one order, told by the buyer, and each thread is linked in full from the relevant evidence page — Chipotle888, Vogue818 and TopSelect.
Why those numbers do not compare
Put them in a row and they look like a range. They are not, because they do not measure the same thing.
- Different routes. A seller shipping direct skips stages three, four and five entirely. There is no warehouse, no QC set, no consolidation — which is why direct is faster and also why it is the route with the least inspection in it.
- Different start points. One comment times the flight. The next times everything from the moment the money moved. Both are true and they are reading different clocks.
- Different destinations. Clearance and last mile vary by country far more than the flight does.
- Different years and different seasons. An order placed into a quiet March and one placed into November are not the same experiment, as peak season sets out.
- Different sellers, and one item each. No buyer here ordered twice to see whether the first time was typical.
That is the honest ceiling on this kind of evidence. It tells you what is possible. It does not tell you what is likely.
Speed is something you are buying
Worth naming, because people frame slowness as a defect when it is often a price point. One buyer who switched sellers put the trade plainly:

Fast dispatch usually means held stock, which means capital tied up in inventory, which is in the price. A cheaper seller who makes to order is not failing at speed; speed is not what you paid for. Decide which one you want before you order, not while you wait.
The three clocks you actually control
- Approving QC the day it appears. Free, and it is regularly the difference of a week.
- Deciding when to stop adding items. A haul has no natural end. You choose one, or stage five chooses for you.
- How many sellers are in one parcel. Every additional seller adds another independent chance of a stall, and the parcel moves at the pace of the worst of them.
What we cannot tell you
There is no timeline table here and there will not be one. We hold quoted Reddit comments about sellers — 237 of them across 124 sellers — and not one order timestamp, so any average we printed would be a fabrication dressed as data. If you are ordering against a real date, count backwards through the seven stages above rather than trusting a number from a thread. And if the link you were going to order from has gone dead in the meantime, the link decoder will usually still resolve it.
