We hold two quoted comments about MADMAN, the store at the handle 3madman, out of 71 comments we read across five threads. Two is not a sample. It cannot show a pattern, it cannot be weighed against anything, and a page that dressed it up as a review would be lying to you in a format that looks like help.
So this page does the opposite. Below is both comments in full, what each one is and is not, and then the one genuinely useful thing the record raises: this seller is described as sellable two different ways, and the choice between them changes what protection you have.
No rating appears anywhere on this page. We grade evidence and decline to grade sellers.
The newer comment is a compliment on somebody else's haul
From June 2026, under a haul review posted by another buyer:
that supreme x martine rose hoodie is hard, madman batch never disappoints
u/warehousepending, r/FashionReps, 1 June 2026
One upvote. Note carefully what the commenter is looking at: photographs in a stranger's post. They did not receive the hoodie, did not wear it and did not measure it. "Never disappoints" is a statement about an impression formed across pictures, which is the most common kind of positive comment in this entire corpus and the weakest.
The word batch is doing something specific there too. It is being used as shorthand for this seller's version of a garment, in the way batch names work generally — a production run, not a grade. Nothing in our record compares this seller's version of anything against another's, so treat the phrase as enthusiasm rather than as a finding.
The older comment is directions, in a thread titled review
From December 2024, in a thread whose title is literally a request for a 3madman review:
Send him a message on whatsapp! he will help you with everything. you can buy privately or with an agent with madman
u/merlijn-reps, r/FashionReps, 28 December 2024
Our corpus caught one comment from a thread asking for a review, and it contains no review. It contains a route.
That is not the commenter's fault — somebody asked how to buy and got a straight answer — but it is worth noticing how often this happens. Threads titled review frequently fill with logistics, and a page that counted them as reviews would inherit an error nobody made on purpose. Both permalinks are on the MADMAN evidence page if you want the surrounding conversation.
Privately, or with an agent
The comment above names the fork. It is the most useful thing in our file, so here is what actually differs, described as mechanism rather than advice.
Through a shopping agent. You pay the agent, the agent buys from the seller, receives the item at a warehouse, photographs it, holds it until you decide, and ships it on. You get inspection photos before the parcel leaves China, a consolidated shipment if you ordered several things, and a company standing between you and the seller when something is wrong. You pay a service fee and a domestic leg for that. How to pay a shopping agent covers the payment side, and how to choose one covers what varies between them.
Directly, over a messaging app. You pay the seller, and the seller ships. The middle fee disappears and so does everything the middle was doing: no warehouse inspection, no QC photographs from a third party, no consolidation, and no intermediary if the parcel never arrives or the item is wrong. Whatever recourse exists is whatever the seller offers you, and rep disputes and refunds is honest about how limited that is on any route.
We are not telling you which to pick, and we have no record of anyone doing either with this seller and reporting back. What we can say plainly is that the two routes are not the same purchase at two prices. They are two different amounts of exposure, and the cheaper one is cheaper because it carries more of it.
What the store is
We hold 264 items, sorting into apparel, outerwear and bags. The labels our indexing attaches are Gallery Dept, Stussy, Rick Owens, Polar Jeans and Supreme, and the seller is discussed on r/FashionReps, r/weidianwarriors and r/RepsFashionDogs.
Those are labels from what got captioned and discussed, not a stock list, and they are replicas rather than the brands themselves. The store is not password-gated, so the albums open without asking anyone for a code — which puts the catalogue ahead of the written record as a source, since there is more of it.
What a two-comment file cannot cover
Everything a buyer wants, essentially:
- No price for any named item, from either commenter or from us.
- No shipping time and no account of a parcel arriving.
- No sizing. Not a measurement, not a size-up or size-down opinion.
- No failure and no resolution. Nothing about a refund, a wrong item, or a seller going quiet. In a two-comment sample that silence is arithmetic, not reassurance.
- Nothing that compares this seller's version of a garment against anybody else's, which is what the one enthusiastic comment implicitly claims.
If you want a method that works when the record is this thin, why we do not rank sellers lists the questions we would ask, and how to buy reps walks a first order end to end. When you have a product link, the link decoder turns it into a buy link for every agent this site supports, including from URLs that have since died.
