Our corpus stores this seller as King of goose, at the Yupoo handle kog001, and the stored name carries the word "agent" in brackets after it. We read four threads and 103 comments and kept two.
Two comments is a thin record. This one is thinner than the number suggests, for two reasons that matter more than the count. Neither comment is a review of anything anyone received, and both were written in 2022 — roughly four years before you are reading this. Nothing about that is a criticism of the seller. It is a description of our evidence, and this page grades evidence rather than sellers.
The giveaway entry
The first comment is from an October 2022 thread on r/FashionReps in which a parka was being given away under the store's own banner:
Canada Goose Expedition in black or gray Size Large Haven't ever ordered a Canada Goose Jacket so this would be nice. Good luck to everyone.
u/Potater1802, r/FashionReps, 16 October 2022
That is somebody entering a competition. They name a model and a size because the entry format asked for them, and they say outright that they have never owned one. It is not an opinion about the store, and it could not be — the writer had never bought from them.
It is worth saying why a comment like this ends up in a corpus at all. Giveaway threads are the single most efficient way for a store to generate hundreds of mentions of its name in a week, and any counting method that treats a mention as a data point will read that spike as popularity. Nine posts and 103 comments sound like a documented seller. Two on-topic comments is what survives once you ask which of them are actually about the goods.
The QC comment, and what it is judging
The second is from August 2022, under a post showing quality-control photos of a Chilliwack bomber:
Looks nice in my eyes but if you want qc for the badge next time ask your agent for pics on the badge when buying maybe they will do it for free now too
u/IFEELLIKECHIEFKEEEF, r/FashionReps, 23 August 2022
This is the closest thing to a positive statement in our whole record on the store, and our tally does file it as the one positive comment on the kog001 evidence page. Read exactly what it is judging. The writer is a bystander looking at somebody else's photographs on a phone screen. They did not order the jacket, hold it, wear it or wash it. "Looks nice in my eyes" is a verdict on an image.
The rest of the comment is process advice: ask your agent for close-ups of the badge at the point of purchase. That advice is sound in shape and stale in detail. Agent QC policies, the number of free photos, and what you can request have all moved since 2022, so check with the agent you actually intend to use rather than carrying a four-year-old claim about free extras forward as fact. What QC means covers what those photos can and cannot settle.
One brand, one problem
Canada Goose is the only brand tag we hold for this store, and the two threads concern an Expedition parka and a Chilliwack bomber. The subreddits it turns up in — r/FashionReps, r/canadagoosereps, r/Yupoo and r/FrenchReps — fit a store working one label rather than a general reseller.
A narrow store is easier to evaluate than a broad one, because the same failure points recur. It also means our record covers a single product family and nothing beyond it. We hold zero items from this store in our catalogue, so nothing of theirs appears on the shelf and there is no product page here to check any claim against.
Evaluating a heavy down jacket yourself
Since the record will not do this for you, do it in this order.
- Get flat measurements from the seller for the exact piece, not a size letter. Chest, shoulder, sleeve and body length. Compare them against a jacket you already own and have worn in weather. Sizing rep outerwear explains why a parka's fit tolerance is tighter than a hoodie's once you plan to layer under it.
- Buy through an agent so that a warehouse inspection exists at all in the chain. What a shopping agent is explains the role, and how to buy reps walks the full route from link to parcel.
- Ask for the photographs you actually need at purchase time, which is the transferable half of the 2022 comment above: badge close-ups, zip pulls, interior labels, and the stitching where the hood meets the shell.
- Inspect properly on arrival rather than trying it on and calling it done — checking a rep when it arrives sets out the order to do it in, and the window in which a complaint is still practical.
- If a 2022 link from one of those threads no longer opens, the link decoder will usually rebuild a working one from the id inside the URL.
The gap is the story
Nothing we hold describes fill quality, warmth, weight, stitching, sizing accuracy, shipping, communication, or a dispute and how it ended. Nothing at all is more recent than October 2022, and a store can change hands, stock and standards several times over in four years.
Two comments from 2022, neither of which is a review, cannot support a conclusion in either direction — and this site will not manufacture one. Open the permalinks on the evidence page to read the threads yourself, and see our methodology for why we would rather publish a visibly empty record than a confident-looking score computed over it.
