If you have read anything at all about buying replicas, you have read something that started life on r/FashionReps. It is the sub that most seller names come from, most W2C links come from, and most of the vocabulary comes from — batch, GP, QC, haul, TD. Our own record makes the point quantitatively: of the 237 quoted comments this site holds, 167 were posted in r/FashionReps threads. Everything else in the corpus, across 15 other subreddits, adds up to the remaining 70.
This page describes what our corpus shows about that sub. It carries no subscriber count, no moderator names and no summary of the rules, because we did not collect those and we are not going to guess them. Read the sub's own sidebar for that.
What the threads in our record are actually doing
Sorting the 106 distinct r/FashionReps threads we quote from, four recognisable thread shapes cover almost all of them.
- Haul posts. Someone receives a parcel, photographs it, names the seller and the agent, and takes comments. This is the format that generates most of what we hold.
- W2C requests. Someone posts a photo of a garment and asks where to cop. The replies are links and seller names, and they date badly.
- Seller threads. A named seller gets a dedicated post, usually either an introduction or a complaint, and regulars argue about them underneath.
- List and comparison posts. Somebody publishes their personal roster of sellers and the sub picks it apart. These are the most argumentative and often the most informative.
That last shape is where the sub is at its most useful and its most brutal. A 2024 list post drew this, and it is a fair sample of the register:

How it differs from the smaller subs
Two structural differences, both visible in our data rather than asserted.
The first is span. Our oldest r/FashionReps quote is from December 2017 and the newest from July 2026 — a little under nine years. By comparison the whole of our r/stockholmreps record sits inside a ten-month window, and r/fashionreps2 gives us two threads from one fortnight in 2024. r/FashionReps is the only sub in our corpus where you can watch a seller's reputation change across years.
The second is breadth of category. Only 37 of the 103 sellers we tie to r/FashionReps carry any category tag in our index, and most of those carry several: apparel on 36 of them, outerwear on 21, sneakers on 17, accessories on 15, bags on 8, jewellery on 2. It is a general sub with a clothing centre of gravity. r/RepsneakersDogs and r/DesignerReps both skew harder — towards footwear and towards European luxury houses respectively.
Twenty-two of those 103 sellers appear in no other subreddit anywhere in our corpus. If r/FashionReps has never heard of a seller, there is a reasonable chance nobody on Reddit has.
Community memory, and what it is worth
The thing r/FashionReps has that the smaller subs do not is institutional memory, which shows up in comments as an expectation that you will look things up before asking:

That memory extends to sellers going quiet and coming back under the same name, which is one of the genuinely valuable things a long-running sub can catch:
Budgetshoes was removed from the trusted seller list after the raid. Regardless of if this is the real budgetshoes you should not have bought from them

We have not verified any list, any raid, or the identity of that account. What the comment shows is the mechanism: a sub where enough people were present two years ago to notice that a name came back.
It cuts the other way too. A large sub produces consensus, and consensus is not the same thing as evidence:
Sharkbreeder has a completely unjustified reputation on this sub. Quality of the manufacture and quality of materials is really low - it's the Arcteryx equivalent of a budget batch which is fine except people on this sub recommend them as if they're high quality 1:1 reps.

That comment is one person's opinion. So is the reputation it is arguing with. Both are on the Shark Breeder page with their threads attached, and we do not adjudicate between them.
The distribution nobody mentions
Our 167 r/FashionReps quotes cover 59 sellers, and they are not spread evenly. The five most-quoted — 666 factory, SHARKBREEDER, Ezjerseys, RAINBOW and HUSKY — carry six comments each. The tail is much longer than the head: dozens of sellers in our record have a single quoted comment from the sub, and 44 of the 103 sellers associated with r/FashionReps have no quoted comment from it at all, only a mention.
The dating is lopsided as well. Roughly two thirds of what we hold from r/FashionReps was posted in 2024 or later. A sub that has run since before 2018 does not have a flat archive, and neither does anything built from it.
Reading it without getting burned
- Date everything. A W2C reply from 2021 is an artefact, not a recommendation. If the link is dead, the link decoder can usually recover the item id from the URL's shape.
- Separate the haul from the verdict. A haul post shows one buyer, one size, one parcel. The comment that says "best seller on here" is a different claim with no photograph behind it.
- Read the argument, not the top comment. In our record, the most useful threads are the ones where two regulars disagree in public.
- Check the seller has a record beyond one thread. We hold quoted, dated comments on 124 sellers at /sellers, and we state plainly on each page where the evidence stops.
What this page cannot tell you
Our corpus is built from threads that mention sellers, which means it inherits the sub's own bias: people post when a parcel arrives. Orders that never arrived, disputes that went nowhere and sellers who stopped replying are systematically under-represented, here and there.
