r/fashionreps2: four comments, eight days, one vanished seller

Our entire r/fashionreps2 record is four quoted comments from two threads in May 2024. Here is why we publish that anyway, and what its 15 sellers show.

Published 2026-08-10

This is the thinnest subreddit record on the site, and the honest thing to do with it is say so in the first line rather than dress it up.

We hold four quoted comments from r/fashionreps2. They come from two threads. Both threads were posted in May 2024, eight days apart. Three of the four comments are about one seller and the fourth is a one-line request about another. That is the entire quotable record, and no amount of writing around it will make it into a picture of a community.

What we do hold in quantity is association: 15 of the 124 sellers on this site are tied to r/fashionreps2 by our source data, with 6,144 indexed items between them. Thirteen of those 15 have nothing quoted from the sub at all.

Both threads are about a seller going quiet

The three Fakelab comments read as a single conversation, and the problem in them is one of the two or three genuine hazards of buying this way.

So currently, Superbuy is also not allowing purchases from FakeLab as it’s a ‘offline’ store (not weidian/ taobao). FakeLab was responding until a couple of days ago (1 response in 2 days) but now he’s completely vanished.

Fakelab now responding? I send a request on wechat but zero

And underneath, someone explaining the mechanism rather than the mood:

offline means buy from WeChat directly without weidian or tabao This not mean selller not online You can use Superbuy order and ask fakelab send you weidian links to you

u/OperationNarrow6474, r/fashionreps2, 19 May 2024

That last comment is the useful one. An "offline" store is not necessarily a store that has closed — it is a store with no marketplace listing for an agent to buy from, which means the purchase has to be arranged by message and then converted into a link the agent can process. Agents differ on whether they will do that at all.

The buyer's experience of the same fact is indistinguishable from being scammed while it is happening. Silence on WeChat, a dead listing, money not yet spent but time already lost. What to do when a rep link is dead covers the recovery steps, and everything else we hold on this seller sits on the Fakelab page and in our guide to that record.

The fourth comment, from a week later, is a different seller and a much smaller thing:

888VIP pleaseee all my shoes have reached the end of their lifetime

The 15 sellers, and the two that are only here

Of the 15 sellers our data ties to r/fashionreps2, 13 are named in at least one other subreddit. Two — 008-aya and leemade — are ours from this sub alone, and we hold no quotable comment about either.

Their brand tags spread wider than the sub's size suggests: Louis Vuitton on six sellers, Moncler and Gucci on five, Balenciaga, Burberry and Dior on four each, then Chrome Hearts, Maison Margiela, Palm Angels and Arc'teryx. Only three of the 15 carry a category tag at all, and those lean apparel and outerwear rather than sneakers. Not one of the 15 sits at our strongest evidence tier.

Read that as a directory entry, not as a recommendation. A seller being named in a thread is the weakest thing we record.

The name is a hazard in itself

Our corpus contains several subreddits whose names are variations on the same word. Alongside r/fashionreps2 we hold sellers tied to r/fashionrepsv2, r/FashionRepsIT, r/FashionRepsBST and the main r/FashionReps. These are different places with different records, and a screenshot of a comment does not carry the sub it came from.

That matters more than it sounds. A great deal of rep advice circulates as cropped screenshots and reposted text, and "someone on FashionReps said" is a claim that cannot be checked unless the thread travels with it. Every quote on this site links back to its own thread for exactly that reason, which you can see stated in our methodology.

What a four-comment record is honestly for

Three things, and not a fourth:

  1. Confirming a seller existed and was being discussed on a date. Low value on its own, real value when it corroborates something you found elsewhere.
  2. Showing a failure mode in the buyer's own words. The Fakelab exchange above is a better explanation of the offline-store problem than a summary would be, because it includes the confusion.
  3. Marking where our evidence stops. Thirteen of the 15 sellers here have no quoted comment from this sub. Saying that plainly is the point of the page.

What it is not for is judging anybody. Nothing on this page rates a seller, and four comments could not support a rating if we wanted to publish one.

If you are early in this, how to buy reps is the sequence, the link decoder recovers items from dead agent links without a network call, and /sellers holds the raw quoted record for all 124 sellers with the gaps left visible. The larger subreddit records — r/FashionReps and r/RepsneakersDogs — are the ones worth reading first, simply because there is more of them.
