Somewhere in the sprawl of rep subreddits there is a cluster with "Dogs" in the name, and newcomers routinely land in one of them, find four posts, and conclude the hobby is dead. It is not dead; they are standing in an overflow room.
Our record on r/RepsFashionDogs is unusually easy to state in full. Five of the 124 sellers we index carry it in their footprint. Exactly one of the 237 comments we quote verbatim across this site was posted there. That single comment is reproduced below, and after it there is nothing else we hold from the sub.
Two subs, one word apart
Our index contains both r/RepsFashionDogs and r/RepsneakersDogs, and they are not the same place. The sneaker-side one is roughly three times as present in our data: 16 of our sellers carry an r/RepsneakersDogs footprint against 5 for the fashion-side one. The names differ by a single word, they attract different sellers, and there is no seller overlap between the two lists at all.
The practical version: if you half-remember a seller being discussed "in the Dogs sub", that memory is not portable. Check which one before you treat it as evidence, the same way you would check r/FrenchReps against r/FrenchyReps in our guide to the French sub.
The one comment
It concerns MOOK, a large apparel Yupoo, and it was posted in March 2026 in a thread asking what people thought of them:
Mook is fine. I have only ordered from him through an agent though. Never had any issues and the product was great.

Read what that actually contains. One person, one seller, an unstated number of orders, no timeframe, no item, no price, and an explicit note that everything went through an agent rather than direct. It is a real data point and it is one person's afternoon. We are not going to build a rating out of it and neither should you.
The thread it came from is linked on the MOOK page along with the five other comments we hold about that seller, all of which were posted in r/FashionReps instead.
The five sellers, and where their record actually lives
Across the five sellers with an r/RepsFashionDogs footprint we hold 17 quoted comments in total, spanning 23 August 2024 to 23 July 2026. Sixteen of those seventeen were written in a different subreddit.
- HUSKY carries strong evidence: 9 of 147 comments read name them, and all six comments we quote were posted in r/FashionReps.
- MOOK carries some evidence: 7 of 141. Six quoted comments, one of which is the one above.
- TOPHOTFASHION carries some evidence: 3 of 119, spread across four subs including r/CoutureReps and r/DesignerReps.
- MADMAN carries some evidence: 2 of 71, also found in r/weidianwarriors.
- Repbox is read, never named: 0 of 16 comments mention them across four subs.
Every one of the five also appears in r/FashionReps. Not one of them appears only in r/RepsFashionDogs. That pattern is the whole finding of this page: for these sellers the small sub is a secondary posting venue, and the conversation that would let you judge anything is happening in the large one.
Why an overflow sub exists at all
You do not need a conspiracy to explain it. Big subs restrict who may post seller links and how often, sellers want more surface, and buyers want a room where a question does not vanish under forty hauls in an hour. Splinter subs appear, some are run by sellers themselves, most stay small, and a few survive.
What follows from that is a reading habit rather than a rule. A thread in a small sub is not less true than a thread in a big one, but it has been read by fewer people, contradicted by fewer people, and corrected by nobody. The confidence you extend to it should scale with the number of people who saw it, and in a sub this size that number is small.
We are deliberately not describing the sub's rules, moderators or subscriber count, because we did not measure them and the one comment we hold does not entitle us to guess.
What to do with a name from a small sub
The absence of discussion is the thing to work around, not to interpret.
- Look the seller up on the seller index and read the denominator. "0 of 16 comments name them" and "9 of 147 comments name them" are different worlds, and neither is a verdict.
- Treat any single positive comment the way you would treat the one quoted above: as one person, not as a consensus. How to evaluate a rep seller is the longer version of that argument.
- Recover the actual product link before you get attached to an item. Small-sub posts are link-heavy and their links rot fast, which is what finding a W2C link and the link decoder are both for.
- Notice where a lone footprint sits. Thirty-six of our 124 sellers appear in only one subreddit, and for 22 of them that subreddit is the big one. A seller who exists solely in a small room has been seen by far fewer people than that number suggests.
