The rep side of Reddit is not one place. It is a large English-language centre with a ring of smaller national and language-specific subs around it, and r/FrenchReps sits in that ring. This page is about what our own record shows for it, which is a smaller and stranger thing than you would guess from the name.
The headline first, because it decides how much weight anything below deserves. Six of the 124 sellers on this site carry r/FrenchReps in their footprint. Zero of the 237 comments we quote verbatim were posted there. Everything we can say about the sub is therefore said from the outside.
What a national sub is structurally for
Regional subs in this hobby exist for the parts of the process that stop being universal at the border. Which agent people locally use, which shipping line is currently behaving on a route, how a domestic carrier presents a customs bill, and — mundanely — the ability to argue in your own language. The item, the seller and the QC photo are identical everywhere. The last two weeks of the parcel's life are not.
That is also the limit of what a national sub is good for. A French-language thread about a Yupoo seller does not contain more information about the seller than the English thread about the same seller. It contains the same information with fewer people checking it.
We are not going to describe r/FrenchReps' rules, moderation or size. We did not measure them, we hold no comment from the sub, and inventing that detail is exactly the thing this site refuses to do.
The six sellers our index ties to it
Listed with what our evidence ladder says about each, which grades the record, never the seller:
- NAISAN23, strong evidence: 11 of 101 comments read name them. Also found in r/FashionReps and r/Repsneakers.
- KOG001, some evidence: 2 of 103. A Canada Goose specialist, also found in r/canadagoosereps.
- HOLY KICKS, some evidence: 1 of 42. Also found in r/FashionRepsIT, which makes them the one seller sitting in both the French and the Italian corner of our map.
- Poshrep, read, never named: 0 of 105 comments mention them, across five subs including one carrying their own name.
- CSJSNKRS, read, never named: 0 of 59, across six subs.
- AANANA24H-FACTORY, read, never named: 0 of 4, and r/FrenchReps is the only subreddit we found them in at all.
Three of those six have zero naming comments across 168 comments we read. That is not a criticism of them; it is the ordinary state of most sellers, and how we grade evidence explains why we publish the gap rather than rounding it up into a rating.
The quotes we hold were written somewhere else
The nine quoted comments we hold across those six sellers span 4 December 2017 to 25 January 2025, and every one of them was posted in r/FashionReps or r/Repsneakers. The oldest quoted comments in this entire corpus belong to NAISAN23, from a 2017 Balenciaga thread:
Damn naisan nailed the shape pretty good. This is the best I've seen yet!
u/[deleted], r/FashionReps, 4 December 2017
Six months later the same seller was the subject of a retail-comparison post, where the tone was flatly the other way:
finally i nice comparison. people saying they are the best....if naisan got the best then the rest is ridiculously shit... the patch is just so different its funny.
u/bettercallher, r/FashionReps, 16 May 2018
Both are eight years old. Neither tells you what that seller ships today, and neither was written by anyone we can place in France.
The most recent of the nine is a question rather than a report, about the seller who straddles the French and Italian subs:
So holy kicks (herbrother) is not recommended at all? Looked through his yupoo and he has some interesting items, especially clothing i cannot find elsewhere.
u/Flow_765, r/FashionReps, 25 January 2025
Our record contains no answer to it. One comment naming a seller across 42 comments read is a footprint, not a reputation.
r/FrenchReps is not r/FrenchyReps
Our index also contains r/FrenchyReps, a separate subreddit, tied to two entirely different sellers with no overlap with the six above. If you are following a seller name between subs, check which of the two you are in, because a recommendation you half-remember from one is not evidence from the other.
This matters more than it sounds. Sixty-four distinct subreddits appear across the sellers we index, several of them near-duplicates of each other by name, and the fastest way to inherit a false memory in this hobby is to merge two of them.
Using a name you found there
A seller name from a small national sub arrives with less scrutiny attached than the same name in a large one, so the work shifts to you.
- Look the name up on the seller index and read the comment count, not the vibe. Zero naming comments means nobody wrote about them, which is different from nobody liking them.
- Read how to evaluate a rep seller before you read the seller's own thread. The order matters.
- Convert the product link through the link decoder rather than trusting a reposted agent link, which is usually the thing that has rotted.
- If it is a first order, how to buy reps covers the sequence, and red flags covers the failure modes that a language barrier hides well.
For the import side of a French order specifically — what is EU mechanism, what is folklore, and what nobody in this hobby has actually measured — buying reps in France is the page, and it is equally blunt about how little our corpus contains.
