An ACBuy buy link tells you almost everything about how the site thinks. It carries a numeric item id and a two-letter source code — one for Weidian, one for Taobao, one for the 1688 wholesale side — and nothing else that matters. No encoded copy of the seller's URL, no title, no seller name. Two letters and a number are the whole address of a product.
That compactness is a fair summary of what an agent is. It is not a shop and it holds no opinion about what you are buying; it is a purchasing service, a warehouse, a camera and a shipping desk.
Before you open an account
Know what the service actually includes
ACBuy buys the item from the Chinese seller with your money, receives it at its warehouse, photographs it, stores it while you add more things, then ships one parcel when you submit it. Chinese sellers largely will not ship abroad or take a foreign card, which is the entire reason this middle layer exists.
The photography is the part you are really paying for. It is your only inspection, and it happens while the goods are still in China and still returnable. Deciding in ten seconds that the pictures look fine is how people end up arguing about an international parcel instead of asking a warehouse to swap a box. There is a per-silhouette breakdown of what to look for in the batch guides, and the full process in how to buy reps.
Know that this list is monetised
Every agent link on this site pays us a commission on signup. It never changes your price, and it is the reason this page describes ACBuy rather than scoring it. The eight agents appear in a fixed order that is not a ranking and was never computed from anything — do not read ACBuy's position in that list, or any other agent's, as a placement. If an agent guide anywhere names one winner without showing what it measured, assume the ranking is the advertisement.
Reading an agent invoice
The total splits into parts that behave very differently, and people who get surprised are usually surprised by the fourth one.
- The goods. The seller's price.
- The domestic leg. Seller to warehouse, inside China. Small.
- The agent's cut. A commission, a handling charge, or a free-service headline with the margin taken elsewhere. Agents revise this on their own schedule.
- International shipping. Quoted per parcel by chargeable weight and volume, on a line you choose. Express is fast and dear, standard is the middle, economy suits heavy and patient. A big light box can cost more than a small heavy one, which is why agents sell repacking.
- Everything optional. Extra photographs, repacking, discarding shoe boxes, insurance, storage past whatever free window applies.
No percentages appear on this page. We have not measured ACBuy's fees, the agent can change them tomorrow, and a confidently stated stale rate is how misinformation survives in this hobby for years. The binding number is the quote for your actual packed parcel on the day you ship. Customs is a separate matter, it is yours, thresholds differ by country and change — read your national customs page rather than a Discord message.
What we check, and what that check is worth
Two URLs per agent, automatically: the signup redirect and a real buy link assembled from a live Weidian item. Homepages are not checked, because a homepage being up says nothing about whether the path a buyer walks works.
Results come back in three states. Alive is a 2xx after redirects. Dead is a definite negative — a 5xx, a redirect chain that does not resolve, or silence. In between sits inconclusive, which is where a 403 or a 451 lands: several sites in this category bot-block a bare request while serving browsers normally, and one agent's bare host returned 451 at a European edge on a run where both URLs this site emits returned 200. An alert that fires on every bot-block is an alert nobody reads.
So the honest scope of our monitoring is: the links work. Not the warehouse, not the photographs, not the support desk.
The part we cannot fill in
Nobody here has ordered through ACBuy. We have not timed a shipment, graded its QC photos, tested what happens to a refund request, or lost a parcel and watched how it was handled. We have never run one basket through all eight agents and compared the invoices, which is the only fee comparison that would deserve publishing.
The evidence this site does hold — dated Reddit comments, quoted verbatim and linked back to their threads on each seller page — is about garments, batches, sizing and sellers. Not one of those buyers was reviewing the agent who forwarded the box. Turning that corpus into an agent rating would mean inventing the part that is missing, and the missing part is the whole question.
If ACBuy is the one you pick
Build a haul before you ship, keep the original Weidian or Taobao product link rather than the agent link, and check the photos properly. If a link you saved has since died, the decoder reads the item id straight out of its shape and rebuilds a working link for ACBuy and the seven others — including, if you want to compare, the KakoBuy version of the same item.
