Nothing produces panic faster than a message that goes unanswered while your money is on another continent, and almost all of it is spent in the wrong place — because the first question, who has actually gone quiet, is usually answered wrong. There are three separate silences, and they need three different responses.
Three parties, and only one of them is your agent
You pay the agent. The agent buys from the seller. The seller ships to the agent's warehouse. So when updates stop arriving, the silence belongs to the seller, to the agent's support desk, or to the agent as a company — and from where you sit the symptom is identical.
Our corpus is nearly all about the first kind. A buyer on r/FashionReps described it exactly — agent working, seller silent:
My agent (Superbuy) place and order for a Casablanca shirt on 4/23. Seller has not replied at all. I reached out on Whatsapp and no reply either.

An older thread shows the agent's own status message, a sentence people mistake for a shipping update:
How long did it take to arrive at warehouse it says they have urged the seller to ship but no response from thunder

"Urged the seller" is the agent telling you it has no leverage either — a seller problem wearing an agent's interface.
First, rule out the silences that are not silence
All three are common, and none of them mean anybody has stopped working.
- A Chinese public holiday. Spring Festival is the big one: sellers, factories and warehouses close, and the backlog afterwards outlasts the holiday itself. The October national week and the mid-autumn break do smaller versions.
- The parcel is at a border. Customs generates no tracking events while it thinks, so an assessment queue looks exactly like a parcel nobody is handling — see Brazil for how long that runs, and South Korea for the parcel that stops because an identifier was never supplied.
- You are messaging the wrong window. A reply inside a closed ticket, a message to a seller's Yupoo account, or an email to an address nobody staffs is not an unanswered question. It is an unasked one.
The order to work through it
- Write down what you are owed and where it is. Order numbers, items in the warehouse, balance on the account, any parcel already submitted. Vague worry does not escalate well; a list does.
- Screenshot all of it today. Order pages, warehouse contents, balance, payment record, chat history. If an account goes dark, the evidence you have is what you took beforehand.
- Send one message per problem, in the agent's own ticket system, order number on the first line, one explicit request — cancel, refund to balance, chase the seller, requote the parcel. A message that only expresses worry gets a sympathetic reply and no action.
- Give it a working week before escalating. Then reply in the same thread with the ticket number rather than opening a new one, because a new ticket is a new place at the back of the queue.
- Try a second official channel once. The one published on the agent's own site — not a Telegram group somebody linked, and never a person who direct-messages you offering to help.
- Check your own side. An unpaid shipping quote, a failed top-up, an unverified account or a bouncing email stalls an order silently.
- Only then look at the payment side. A card or PayPal dispute is real leverage and the end of the relationship — agents close accounts over it, and warehouse contents go with the account. How to pay a shopping agent sets out which methods carry that leverage; crypto and bank transfer carry none.
If it is the seller who has gone quiet
Your agent can ask, and that is the whole of its power. There is no contract between you and a Weidian shop, and one that is out of stock has every incentive to say nothing while it restocks. A buyer described that pattern on r/RLREPS:
They sell out-of-stock items, then make customers wait until the products are remade before shipping them out. During that time, they don't reply at all. They even read WeChat messages and ignore them.
u/LevelSignificance892, r/RLREPS, 20 May 2026
Your realistic options are to wait, to have the agent cancel and refund to your balance if the goods have not reached the warehouse, or to buy the same silhouette elsewhere. Which of those exists depends entirely on how far the order has travelled — disputes and refunds maps it stage by stage, and the window is far wider before QC than after.
If the shop has vanished rather than gone quiet, the link decoder still rebuilds a buy link out of a dead one, and what to do when a rep link is dead separates a dead shop from a dead wrapper.
If it is the platform itself
The failure nobody plans for is the agent going quiet at scale rather than at you: withdrawals not processing, quotes that never come back, silence across a whole community at once. Agents here have closed before and will again.
The defences are cheap and belong in place beforehand. Do not park a float on a balance — top up what you are about to spend. Do not leave paid-for goods sitting for months because storage is free; ship them. And keep the product links for everything you own: rebuilding a haul from links takes minutes, from memory a weekend.
What we have not tested, and will not pretend to have
This site holds 237 quoted comments about 124 sellers, and on this subject the corpus has an obvious hole: every quote above is about a seller going quiet. Nothing in it describes an agent's support desk failing, a ticket resolved, a refund granted, or a dispute reaching an end.
So there is no ranking here and no "best agent for support" line. We have never timed one against another, and we take a commission when somebody opens an agent account through our links, which makes us the wrong people to name a winner on something we have not measured. Our method explains why that restraint is the product, and how to choose a shopping agent covers what to decide on instead. On a first order, how to buy reps is the sequence, and the seller pages hold the raw record, gaps included.
