scarlettluxury, written SCARLETT in most threads, runs a large Yupoo store: 3,544 items resolved to a photo and a working buy link when we crawled it, weighted toward bags and luxury apparel. It also has one of the thicker Reddit files in our set, with 183 comments scanned across five threads.
Eight of those comments were actually about the seller. Six are quoted below. What makes this record unusual is not its size but its consistency: the criticism is almost entirely about one variable, and the community upvoted it hard.
This page is the evidence, not a verdict. We have not bought from this seller, we do not rate anybody, and the comments below are other people's opinions reproduced with their dates and scores so you can weigh them yourself.
The complaint is price, and it carries the highest scores
The two most upvoted comments in our entire file for this seller are both from an October 2024 r/FashionReps thread asking people to name sellers they had actually purchased from. Somebody's list included SCARLETT, and the replies pushed back:
Scarlett luxury is over priced. Some of her Burberry pieces are flaws compared to retails
u/New-Tumbleweed-, r/FashionReps, 26 October 2024
Scarlett is WAY too overpriced.
u/oskaroskarr, r/FashionReps, 26 October 2024
The second of those is one line out of a longer comment that worked through several sellers on the same list; we have quoted only the sentence about this one.
A year earlier, under a 23kg haul post on r/DesignerReps in which every item came from this seller, the same objection appeared with quality attached to it:
Scarlettluxury prices are crazy especially when most of their stuff is shit quality.
a deleted account, r/DesignerReps, 29 July 2023
Three comments, two subreddits, fifteen months apart, 130 combined upvotes, all saying a version of one thing. That is the clearest signal in this file.
The sourcing claim
In the same October 2024 thread, one commenter offered a mechanism for the price complaint:
Scarlett takes products from zimostudio and then charges more for them, even uses their same pictures lol
u/Odd_War9908, r/FashionReps, 26 October 2024
We have not verified this. Nobody in the thread produced side-by-side photographs, and our data contains no image comparison. Reselling another store's goods at a markup is an ordinary arrangement in this market rather than a scandal, but it does bear directly on whether a price is worth paying, which is why the claim sits here rather than in a footnote.
The positive comments, and what they actually describe
Two comments in our set are warm. Both come from the same July 2023 thread, a post about gifts bought for someone's mother, and both score low:
Bought my mom a Hermes belt from Scarlett. We picked one together
u/Automatic-Shower-147, r/FashionReps, 17 July 2023
Read the rest of that comment carefully. The buyer was still "waiting for this belt to arrive and my mom loves it already", which means the item was not in hand when they wrote. It is a comment about anticipation, not about a product.
The other is not an endorsement at all:
is this so good quality?? fromm scarlett
u/jnk147, r/FashionReps, 17 July 2023
That is a question. No answer to it survives in our data.
So of six quoted comments, three are strongly critical, one describes a sourcing arrangement, one is a question, and one is about an order that had not landed yet. There is no in-hand positive review of a specific item anywhere in this record.
What this record does not cover
- No prices. Not one figure appears in any comment. "Overpriced" is a judgement relative to what those buyers expected to pay for a rep, and you cannot reconstruct the number from our file.
- No item-level detail on the criticism. One comment names Burberry pieces. The others are about the store as a whole, which is easier to say than it is to check.
- Nothing after October 2024. Almost two years of trading are undescribed here.
- Three of the six comments come from one thread. That thread was a list-building exercise where people were already arguing about seller rankings, which is a setting that rewards strong opinions.
- No refund, dispute, or shipping account. As with most sellers in our corpus, nobody wrote about what happens when an order goes wrong.
- 3,544 items, eight relevant comments. The overwhelming majority of the catalogue has no public account attached.
How to use a price complaint
A price objection is the most portable kind of criticism in this market and the easiest to test yourself. If the sourcing claim above is right, the same item exists elsewhere for less; if it is wrong, it does not. Either way the check is a comparison, not a leap of faith.
The link decoder will take any product link you find and return the buy links for the agents this site supports, which is the fastest way to see what an item actually costs to land rather than what a Yupoo album implies. If you are new to the mechanics of buying through an agent, read how to buy reps first — the QC photo step is where a "flaws compared to retails" complaint gets caught before the parcel ships onward.
Every quote above is on the scarlettluxury evidence page with a permalink to its thread. For a seller whose record has the opposite problem — plenty of enthusiasm, almost no criticism, and a very short time window — compare the huskyreps guide.
