SOMO is a sneaker store at the Yupoo handle somakicks, tagged in our data with Nike, Jordan, New Balance, Yeezy and Asics, and appearing in r/RepsneakersDogs, r/fashionreps2 and r/RepSneakerFans. We read five threads and 48 comments about them and kept two.
Two comments cannot support a conclusion, and this pair is narrower still: they were posted on the same day, in the same thread, and that thread is a July 2025 post on r/RepsneakersDogs headed as a warning about a switched pair of Air Jordan 1s. So the entire quoted record on this seller is the aftermath of one alleged problem. There is no counterweight in it, no ordinary haul review, and no rating from us at either end.
What "warning" and "trusted seller" both mean here
Two labels sit in that thread title and neither is ours. "Trusted seller" is a status conferred by whoever maintains the list a buyer was reading; different groups apply it on different evidence, and this site does not issue it or endorse it. "Warning" is the poster's framing of their own experience.
We have not verified the underlying claim. We do not hold photographs of what was ordered against what arrived, and we have not seen the messages between the parties. Treat the allegation as an allegation.
The buyer's own reading
The most useful comment we hold is from the buyer, replying after someone stepped in:
Thanks for stepping in and handling this it’s appreciated. To be honest, I was already sorting it out with the seller through my agent, and it’s not a huge issue when you use one (pro tip: always use an agent, guys!). That said, I’m not convinced by Somo’s explanation.

Three separate things are happening in four sentences, and it is worth separating them. The buyer acknowledges the intervention. They report that the problem was already being resolved through their agent and was, in their words, manageable because of it. And they say plainly that the seller's account of what happened did not convince them.
That last clause is the part a summary would drop. Somebody can be made whole and still not believe the explanation they were given, and both halves belong in the record.
The reply from the vendor side
The other comment, and the most upvoted thing anyone wrote in our sample, is the intervention itself:
Sorry this happened to you. As the boss, I apologize. I’ve taken care of it for you, and now SOMO will handle it — this isn’t his problem.
u/RealShoddy, r/RepsneakersDogs, 29 July 2025
We are quoting this exactly as it stands and not interpreting the relationships in it. Somebody posting as the boss apologised publicly and said the matter had been taken care of. We cannot confirm who that account belongs to, what the arrangement between them and the store is, or what "handled" turned out to mean in practice, because our record ends where the thread does.
Why our counter reads this as positive
The tally on the somakicks evidence page files one of these two comments as positive and neither as negative — for a thread that opens as a warning. That is not a bug you should ignore; it is the reason we publish the comments in full underneath the number.
Sentiment counting reads tone, and the visible tone in a complaint thread that gets resolved is conciliatory: apologies, thanks, appreciation. The unresolved doubt in "I'm not convinced by Somo's explanation" scores as nothing at all. Any site that shows you a percentage over two comments and hides the comments is selling you that artefact as a fact. Our methodology explains why we grade the strength of a record instead.
What a handled complaint is evidence of
It is genuine evidence of something, and it is narrow. It shows that a public complaint about this store in July 2025 drew a fast public response, and that the buyer said the resolution was under way through their agent. That is more than a silent record.
It is not evidence about build quality, materials, batch accuracy or sizing, because nobody in our sample discussed any of those. It is not evidence about what happens to a buyer who does not post publicly. And a single resolved case says nothing about frequency — one thread cannot tell you whether a switched pair is a rarity or a pattern.
The transferable lesson is the agent
The buyer made the argument themselves, and it survives independently of anything about this store: an intermediary who holds the parcel and photographs it is what turns a switched item from a loss into a dispute you can actually win.
- Read how to buy reps for the route from a store link to a parcel, and how to choose a shopping agent before you commit to one.
- Insist on QC photographs before anything is forwarded, and know what you are looking at — what QC is covers the stage where a wrong colourway or model is still cheap to catch.
- If something does arrive wrong, rep disputes and refunds sets out the order of operations and the evidence you need to have kept.
- Check the size against measurements rather than the label. The rep shoe sizing guide explains why a sneaker rep can run a half size off its own tagging.
- Paste any store link into the link decoder to get a working buy link for every agent this site supports, including links from 2025 that no longer open.
We hold no items from this store in our catalogue, so there is nothing of theirs on the shelf to compare against. The permalinks on the evidence page take you to the thread itself, which is a better use of ten minutes than any summary of two comments, ours included.
